Preserving the jungle is our main duty: our project is committed to the conservation of Scarlet Macaw and it is a pleasure to show our visitors our efforts towards it. Join us in a three days journey to learn about it!

You will normally arrive during the evening after a few hours of road. Rest, take your time and have some dinner in our restaurant (not included).

On Day two, you will surely be awaken by the sound of the howler monkeys. After listening to them for a while, take your breakfast (not included) and let’s get ready for a visit to the conservation area for the Scarlet Macaw.

In this adventure, you will get to know about our project: our effort to increase the population of macaws in their natural habitat, as well as the preservation of the areas. In this activity you will walk through our village: the Ejido Reforma Agraria, both its urban area and surrounding pastureland.

After lunch, walk our 2.5 kms interpretative path located within the Biosphere Communitary Area, which has an extension of 1463 hectares of high perennifolia jungle. This reserve houses a large number of mammals, reptiles and birds, some of which you will most probably be able to see. There is also a possibility to watch monkeys. During the hike, we will learn about distinct types of trees and plants, such as “ceiba pentandra”, mahogany and cedar. You will always be in contact with nature and our guides.
